We hope that you find the information in this FAQ very helpful. Our goal is to provide you with information so that you have a better understanding of Premature Ovarian Failure. This, in turn will give you the knowledge you need to make informed decisions about how to deal with this disorder.

About this FAQ

The information in this booklet is the property of The International Premature Ovarian Failure Association. It may be reproduced if the International Premature Ovarian Failure Association is cited.

This FAQ was created in 1998 in booklet form with help from a grant from the Endocrine Nurses Society. It was most recently reviewed and updated in 2003/2004 with the assistance of a R.N. POF volunteer, Suzanne Graf and Jennifer Raaths of the IPOFA Board and Dr. Laurence A. Jacobs, MD. We thank each of them for their efforts.
