Infertility Bill of Rights

  1. You have the right to refuse to hold babies.
  2. You have the right to be angry.
  3. You have the right to have sex on your own schedule and not only when the calendar says "ok"
  4. You have the right to ask as many questions as you want.
  5. You have the right to tell your doctor "no more" or "I want to start this treatment" After all, you are the customer, he/she is the service provider.
  6. You have the right to respond to insipid comments with an icy stare and/or a scathing rebuttal.
  7. You have the right to tell your family, friends, coworkers that it is "none of their business"
  8. You have the right to feel jealous when someone else becomes pregnant.
  9. You have the right to say "some people don't deserve their children".
  10. You have the right to cry, as much as you want, whenever you want to.
